No interest in winter kayaking?

It’s that time again – time for interest in kayaking to fall off a cliff. I understand that people do go kayaking in the colder months but I also understand that these people are insane. I imagine they are salty seafaring types, bearded and weathered, with a permanent layer of salty crust on their sun-freckled leathery hides. I had always fantasized about paddling misty Lake Tahoe in the winter, but COME ON PEOPLE IT’S FREEZING OUT THERE.

That’s us losing interest at the right edge of the graph above. I love graphs and I also love kayaks. So this graph makes me all jittery with excitement.
